Nigeria at a cross road. The country is at a stand still. The election fever is on. issues to consider should include, (1) have food prices been rising or not despite the insecurity engulfing over 15% of the land mass? (2) How much economic growth or positive changes have occurred since the last one year? (3) will the clamor for 'change' bring about increased employment, improved direct foreign investment? (4)Peace and harmony among the Nigerian tribes? (5) Improved educational, agricultural, health and infrastructural development? If the wide acclaimed change will not lead to all these above, let us remain as we are and think of gradual improvements step by step! Nearly all APC States except Lagos has not improved on rural and agricultural sectors! their pedigrees are pointers to mainly urban development thereby increasing rural urban migration to the detriment of the highly populated rural poor. Developed nations will want policies that will benefit their trades not minding the low impact on the well being of the silent majority. Caution on either side of the divide! Our leaders in various capacity should understand this fact, that the positions they occupied are not outside God's knowledge and they are there to represent God's interest. How well have you been representing him? Is a very big question to be sincerely and genuinely answered. Knowing fully well that you cannot deceive God. You may be making empty and vain promises to the people that shows how you have been representing God. Are you telling us that is the way God behaves when his word tells me that he is faithful to his promises, covenants and his words. And also is the one that talk and do. Or you that steal from public funds, is that how you are representing God? Don't you feel bad when you send somebody to go and represent you somewhere and the person start to steal there? He has tarnished my image you will say. Is it not also true that you have tarnished the image of God as well by misrepresenting God wherever you find yourself?
