Jos problem is purely ethnic, although the Hausa Fulani have turned it to be religious for the purpose of sympathy.and let me say it categorically that the crises will linger until the the Hausa Fulani minority realise that they are minority.i was discussing with a friend when he told me that the Hausa / Fulani were relegated in jos that they don't produce Governor ,Deputy ,no commissioners e.t.c. I now had to made him to understand how painful it is when they felt to understand the plight of the ordinary christain indigents in Borno, Bauchi, Yobe etc,as at now since the creation of Borno, non Muslim have never ruled the state and even presently out of the 28 or there about commissioners in the state only one or two are christains yet christains constitute about 30-38% of the of the state.

Its really, really unfortune to even image what had happened in Jos. Jos as we all know used to be the LOVE GARDEN of Nigeria, but this climant city has now become a place even the devil would fear to visit. What went wrong? To me this is the first thing to be unravelled before we go to the next issue of Who is responsible. I think the whole issue(s) revolve around the evil machinations of some leaders among us who usually lean on the ignorance of the majority to create havoc, knowimg that, they are the providers of those miscreants and, of course they would not be easily exposed. The Jos crisis could be simply ethnic, but looking cursory at the trend of event, you see that, religion also plays a significant role in the mayhem. One thing is certain, we have experienced the Biafran war and i believe no Nigerian who has had that experience would pray that Nigeria go through that again. The Jos problem is one too many. My view is that, for any relevant peace to be achieved on the plateau our present leaders must, i repeat must ensure that, all those behind this sad development are made to account for this foolishness. Nigerians must be allowed to reside in any part of the c ountry and no community or society single handedly develop itself in isolation. Nigeria must be and plateau or no plateau no one has the right to deny the majority the peace to live and persue their legitimate sustainance, because some group or a part those wish to see other Nigerians among them. This should the last sad attack on the Hausa-Fulani by the so-called indegenes of Jos. Let the truth be told, without the visitor or settlers the ordinary indegene of Jos has nothing to show to signify his contribution to Jos. Jos was made what it is too by the settlers and they must be respected. The Federal government has no option, but to punish those involve no matter big or small, this will serve as a lesson to all those whmo feel they are covered by someone or something on the plateau.

If we are worshiping one God who created us why should we dare to hurt ourselves?i think they are a lot of souls on earth today that have no business being here. After killing and maiming one another do we worship God over there?I think its share illiteracy and greed especially in the minds of those we call our leaders(political and religious).

It is between the Christian Majority and the Muslim settlers. But it is more about ethnicity and not religious

The thing is more about ethnicity and not necessarily religion. Some people are trying to make it look like religion in order to get support
